This beautiful Geisha figurine was sculptured by Vicente Martinez and issued in 1973 but retired in 1997. She is no longer produced. She was made from high quality porcelain by Lladro in Valencia, Spain.

She is 7.75 inches tall, 6.25 inches in width and 4.25 inches long. She is unglazed. The bottom of her base reads LLADRO Hand made in Spain and also has some other markings. Please refer to our photos for details.

She is a stunning piece, elegant and beautiful, gently arranging her pink flowers in the blue vase that stands on a long bench in front of her. There is also one extra yellow flower laying on the bench next to the vase. She is dressed in the traditional Geisha attire that depicts the Japanese culture and history and reflects a lot of details in light blue, purple and cream color. Her hair is smoothly styled in the traditional hairstyle of Geisha. She is kneeling down and sitting on back of her heels and is entirely engaged in arranging her flowers. She is permanently attached with the bench to a nice firm flat base made from the same porcelain. She also comes with an extra wooden stand that can be used either as a stand or as a wall shelve. The stand has two nail openings on the back side for purpose of hanging the stand on the wall if one desires. The stand gives this Geisha such a luxurious and outstanding look.
